Low-Cost Airfares, Accommodations, and Car Rentals
Sources of low-cost airfares can be of great assistance in reducing a major expense involved in arranging a family history tour: getting to the country where the tour will occur.
Depending on the arrangements with your tour company (or if you are planning your own do-it-yourself tour), and on whether you are planning to spend a longer time in that area than the actual family history tour time, you may need to consider renting a car and/or accommodations.
In order to facilitate those needs, I have provided the following links.
Often, you will find that, if you book your hotel and airfare together, you can save money as compared to what you would pay if you booked separately. Some of the following links include both hotels and airfares, while others (such as Hotwire) also include car rentals.
3. Rental Cars
Most of the companies offering flights also offer car rentals and/or hotel accommodations. A few car rental offers are included here, but you will find that most of the links above will also include links to car rentals.
